"Some real team spirit"

Films: Killer High (2018)

Alias: The Wallingham Warthog

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average wild boar.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: And now for a very DIFFERENT killer boar movie. This one isn't some porked-out mutant or a general mistake of nature. No, this one's a costume. An ugly, sharp-toothed, possessed costume. At least the school it was in was partially abandoned.

History: The town of Wallingham is set for demolition after years of being completely void of any residents. However, there are still some teens there who come for hard partying and good reunions, particularly at the old high school. But then one of the visitors wears the old Wallingham Warthog mascot costume. You see, the school's founder's son went crazy after being rejected by the football team, and went on a massacre while wearing it. When he died, his spirit placed a curse on it. Anyone who wore the suit would be turned into a savage demon boar that kills everything it sees. Sure enough, the dance becomes a bloodbath as the kids desperately try to figure out a way to survive.

Notable Kills: Tosses a couple of trophies into an adult's hands to pin them down for the kill, launches a girl into some lights with its tusks, goes on a dance floor rampage complete with acapella classical music and a photobooth joke, and shoves a lighter through a captive's mouth.

Final Fate: After killing just about everyone, the possessed mascot is finally taken down when it gets hit in the face with a lava lamp, impaled on the hoof, and finally decapitated with a shovel. As everyone leaves, all that's left is the headless corpse of the poor sap who wore it.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-For such a cheap monster, this one surprisingly gets the job done. It's hideous to behold, everyone meets a cruel and bloody demise at its tusks, and there are several instances where it shows some rather unsettling signs that it's not as dumb as some common animal. Keep in mind that the guy who cursed that costume was a complete psychopath, and there's a good chance that it's him doing the thinking within that costume.

Trivia: -This film was directed by Jem Garrard, who has a long history of working with both Syfy and teenagers. How good her works are is up to you, but you can't say she isn't versatile.

-The mascot was played by Michael Dufays, who has more experience as a stunts man than he does an actor.

A lot of foresight on that shirt's part.
Super funny until the carnage starts...
Just stay still and close your eyes so you don't see it coming.
